Inspiration :: Blue and Cream

I love a creamy blue color palate for a wedding.  It's classic, dreamy , and translates well for any season.

Inspiration :: Summer Pop

Hey there Sunshine!

It's starting to get hot, hot, hot here in sunny Los Angeles.  Which got me thinking about summer weddings.  If you are getting married in a sultry locale, then whatever you do - don't wear a big fussy wedding gown!  It's makes zero sense and you'll be miserable.  Opt for something light, flow-y, and sexy.

This board is all that and more.  Sexy, airy, and colorful with just a little metallic to balance it all out.  Add a icy rum punch and you're good to go!

PUNCH!

I have a confession to make...I don't really like Summer.  As soon as Summer starts to show up I long for the fall.  Lame, I know. The one thing I do like about summer is cocktails...cold frosty cocktails, and I have very specific (and very happy) memories of Summer punch.  Since punch is all the rage, lets have a look at these pretty and tasty concoctions!

Loving the floating berries in the pretty pink punch...

Easy for guests to serve themselves.  Adding a simple wood base is a nice touch for a rustic wedding...

Love the color of this cocktail, and serving it in a big jug?  brilliant!

A pretty and refreshing champagne cocktail...

I'm loving this display.  Setting mason jars in the drawer is both genius and adorable.

Summer Wine roundup from Refinery29

Refinery29 has a great  post today about delicious summer wines on the cheap, all $14 and under.

I'll take one, or two, or three of each!  I'm already sold on the 2010 Liquiere A Mi Chemin for $11.50 (cheeeeeaaaap!) Tell me if this description doesn't make you ache for summer....

“A lovely little Southern French wine. It tastes of strawberry fruit, but it’s always clean and easy. This will be one of my go-to pink wines this summer because it's super versatile and the price is excellent.”

So if you  are looking for some interesting and affordable wines for your wedding this summer, or just looking for a nice wine for dinner this weekend then check it out! Click here to go to the full post....
