Getting ready to ring in 2011
I am making the shift to New Years eve planning, yay! Bubbly! Sexy little party dresses! Sparkly baubles! High heels! Confetti, Noise makers, Kisses at midnight. Here's what I'm thinking...
It always seems to rain on New Years so I think I'll go with a glammed up pony, why fight the weather?
What to wear? I never have a party dress when I need one, and I usually don't want to spend a fortune on something I am going to wear once. I'll hit up Lady in Eagle rock, it's local, affordable, and always has the cutest little dresses. If I strike out there then there is always H&M...
The shoes make the outfit, right? I'll head over to Vamp in Los Feliz to pick out the perfect pair.
Jewelry is always a must on New Years. And since it's such a festive and fun holiday ditch the delicate jewelry in favor of something bold.
I'm in Love with the Lulu Frost for Jcrew jewelry line. Affordable heirloom pieces and each piece is absolutely glam.
Forever 21 accessories always fit the bill for a quick, and ridiculously cheap Jewelry fix...
Now I'm really excited for New years!

Veiled
I love a good Veil.
I didn't wear one at my wedding, but I wish I would have. Veils can be expensive, but if you live in a big city like Los Angeles or New York you can easily get one made in the fabric district for cheap . Or...you can make one yourself. It's pretty easy, and even the craft challenged can handle this project. Check out the link below for a great DIY veil tutorial.
If DIY isn't your thing, then there are many roads to go down when it comes to your veil selection. These are some of my favorites ::

Wednesday Link Love
Everyone is finished with their Christmas shopping, right? (insert maniacal laughter here) Don't worry, we are all in the same boat and no one is judging you...promise.
I have purchased stocking stuffers and that is about it. Now, you need to understand that stocking stuffers were serious business in my house growing up. The stocking always contained the most precious gifts and edible treasures. My husband learned this the hard way the very first Christmas we spent together. Lets just say that I was not too pleased with the contents of my stocking, and he never made that mistake again.
So, here is my list of awesome stocking stuffers that will knock the socks off of your loved ones come Christmas morning.
Yup, wine. If the bulk of my stocking was filled up with a nice bottle of wine rather than apples and oranges (lame) I would be a very, very, very happy girl.
The best tea ever.
Colorful and tasty, perfect for a Christmas stocking. Are you noticing the Dean & Deluca trend?
One of my favorite lip balms. Perfect to moisten those pretty lips for all the smooches you'll lay on your honey if he fills your stocking with all these treats!
Your mom, sister, bestie, or roomie will love you.
A little something decadent for the man in your life.
This is good stuff and will make a bourbon drinker out of any man.
Why not make it a bourbon themed stocking? Just add whisky stones and a Tiffany's Bourbon glass.
The Christmas sock, Barney's style. He'll gladly wear these.

Holiday Deals
OK Ladies, it's time to start shopping.
It would be nice to start December with most of my shopping done, and avoid the headache and extra expense of last minute shopping. Sadly, I am not that person...yet.
Those who know me well, know that I am a master of the deal. As much as I try to simply smile and say "thank you" when I get a complement... I just can't stop myself from blurting out the details of my score. It's a disease.
Today's post is all about the deal and the steal. Have fun looking and I promise to bring you a wedding board tomorrow!
I have a couple of these pretty little candle holders. They cast a beautiful glow, and look magical when grouped together. These make an excellent hostess gift, and for $5.95 each - it's a steal
Perfect bag for the fiance, husband, brother...any guy in your life! Durable, handsome, on sale for $37
ETSY, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways... I really, really, really love etsy. If you haven't discovered all the wonderful handmade treasures hiding in etsy, then now is a great time to get started. I adore this artist from Israel and her tiny canvas prints, they start at $18
OK, so I lied. This locket costs $54, just over budget, but it's so pretty I had to share.
I love to gift little luxuries, and these glasses fit the bill. They are festive and beautiful. Now, you can't put them in the dishwasher, but I'd say the 22K gold crocus leafs are worth a little hand washing. $30 for 2 glasses, and who doesn't love getting a gift from Barney's? No one, that's who.

BLACK FRIDAY
I love the idea of Black Friday, but it sounds sexier than it actually is. I mean, have you ever been to the mall on Black Friday? I went, once, and it was insane.
At least we can all be thankful for the Internet. Avoid the crowds and check out these 'all black' Black Friday items.

I love this T shirt. It looks comfy and chic. Also, the model has big boobs, so I can actually tell what it might look like on me - LOVE that! Seriously, models never have boobs, never.

How about some black diamonds for your wedding band? Lovely and unexpected, if you ask me...
